I'm getting lazy now

It was drizzling on the day I was going to pedal out of Wurzburg. I like to bike, but I'm a fair weather biker.  Getting caught out in the rain is one thing, but I find it very hard to set off when its raining. I walked the few blocks to the trainstation and bought a ticket to Bamberg.  And after an hour I had gone the distance that it would have taken me two rainy days to cover by bike.

Bamberg is a great town. The altstadt (old city) is incredibly picturesque, with a river running through clusters of timberframed buildings. The surrounding "new" town is also very nice with pedestrian shopping streets, bikeways and public spaces. It's also a university town.  So while there are lots of tourists wandering aimlessly through the cobbled streets, its also a real place.
