On our way...almost
Thanks to Garin's engineering organizational skills we are almost ready to go! The biggest debate has been how many pairs of pants/shorts to take. The real weight will be in travel books and novels though. The trip has all come together rather quickly and I have been overwhelmed by the support of family and friends. Of course, there are those who ask, "Why Thailand?" I say, "Why not?" We wanted the kids to experience a third world country with semi-decent weather, and also get a variety of sites and sounds and people. I am most looking forward to leaving my cell phone behind and having quality time with the kids and Garin. After our midnight arrival in Bangkok, we'll spend a few days in the city where protestors are still trying to overthrow their govenrment. Then it's on to the beaches down South (hope to take a Thai cooking class and do some snorkeling). Then back to Bangkok and up North to Chang Mai where elephants, temples and hill tribes abound! Stay tuned....Court
