A major bump

So for those of you who follow international news, the Bangkok airport has been taken over the last two days by protestors who want the current Prime Minister to resign. Result? All flights canceled. We are supposed to fly out tomorrow. Can you imagine if this happened in our country? Anyway, we are on standby until later today as the airline refund/change policies only apply through today at this point. Sigh. Needless to say we are all MAJORLY bummed but I am still hopeful. I have a source in Thailand who says once the airport opens things will go "back to normal" which apparently includes an ongoing strife between the government and the protestors. Most of our trip was NOT in Bangkok so again, we shall seee. To top it off, Garin came home last night to a flooding and broken refrigerator complete with melted rainbow sherbert and stinky chicken. We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving. I still believe we have a lot to be grateful for -- namely that this happened BEFORE we took flight. Keep us in your thoughts and thanks for everyone's support. CS
