Sitting in Seatac waiting on boarding our Condor Air flight. Condor is an off shoot of Lufthansa and is now owned by Thomas Cook Travel. They are a long-haul charter flight company based in Frankfurt that specializes in hauling those well-travelled Germans to distant points on the globe. The Seattle flight is based around the Seattle-Alaska cruise industry. But thankfully, they like to fly the planes back to Europe full and so offer us Seattlites some decent fairs to the Continent.
I hear that their flights don't get high marks for comfort--we'll let you know tomorrow how that goes. I'm picturing a city bus with wings...
